June--By Constance Escobar--United States

June

Full of days of celebration at high noon.
A cup of tea and dances in the dunes.
Catch a flight and check into the room.
It’s your birthday, I’ll be there very soon.
Get dressed wishing you all the best.
Tonight there’s a view to top all the rest.
It’s been a long year; this is your rhyme.
Like all the finest you are better with time.
You’re young as ever no matter the age.
Soak it up with time we’ll become sage.
Cake, champagne and any other thing.
Enjoy every minute of your eternal spring.
