Delicate Dreams--By Inge Wesdijk (Daginne Aignend)--The Netherlands

Delicate Dreams

In the upper drawer
of my small cabinet
I stored them, safely
Afraid otherwise
they might get lost
When times are tough,
my secret cache opens
and I cherish myself
by the warm compassion
of my delicate dreams

  1. I have waited too late to pull my dreams from the drawer and fulfill them but others can surely pull out some of theirs and go to work on them. Life passes with its obligations which can stand in the way and I hope that others find a way to reach those dreams no matter how obscure they may seem.I enjoyed your work..Sara
